Prime Equus has been established from our many years of owning horses and extensive knowledge of animal nutrition. We are an equine feed company that formulates and distributes various horse feeds internationally and Australia wide.

We have been lucky enough to have been able to meet and work with Antoinette Foster ( Equine Nutritional Therapist Dip.Nut) who has also contributed to the formulation of our feed products by providing her trade marked Equus mineral salts & Equus Soy Oil, which are a major component of this world first, world class Natural horse feed which is produced in a certified organic feed mill.

Prime Equus also evolved because of the inconsistent quality and confusion over many products produced by feed companies that perhaps are more profit driven rather than being concerned about the health and wellbeing / performance of our horses.

We pride ourselves on the natural quality and consistency of our feeds always being the same, as your horse is just as important to you as our horses are to us.

Prime Equus also supports the National Breast Cancer Foundation as a Gold Partner Supporter. With every bag of Prime Equus feed sold a donation is made directly to the foundation. We also hold major fundraising events for the awareness of Breast Cancer throughout Australia within our Equine Industry.

Prime Equus can help all horse owners with a healthier nutritional diet and cut your feeding costs.

Formulator of the Mineral Tissue Salts used in our feeds:

Antoinette Foster founded Hi Form Australia in 1990, after trying several products on her own mare without a great deal of success she decided to use the education and training behind her and developed her first formula in 1987, the HerbaNerve. The success of this product was just the beginning!

Hi Form has a diverse and unique range of Naturopathic Veterinary Formulas to cover a wide range of conditions in horses, dogs and cats.

Antoinette has specialised in Equine Nutritional Therapy for over 19 years with a long list of qualifications including human nutrition, Equine Nutritional Therapy, Equine Nutrition, Herbal Medicine, Nutrition and Disease etc. and has been involved with horses since the age of 5.

Antoinette became involved with the Prime Equus project over a year ago with the view to assisting in the development of a formulated cereal hay/lucerne cube that also contained whole oats with added organic, GMO free soy oil and has developed a specific mineral tissue salt mix, Equus Mineral Salts™ to maintain the health and wellbeing of the horse.
‘I am proud to be associated with Damien and Prime Equus, these amazing cubes are just as healthy as mixing your own feed, but far more nutritious and balanced for your horse’

She is a keen dressage rider, but very sadly lost her beautiful medium/advanced gelding in January 2008 after owning him for 9 years. Leroy was very special, a one in a million. In April 2008 Antoinette purchased a beautiful performance bred yearling (now 3) who is a loud  chestnut Overo, he should stand out in the dressage arena and purchased a Prix St Georges Gelding Corylus (Ludo) who is a grand old gentleman by Ludendorf.

Antoinette also offers a complete Equine Holistic Profile which incorporates the rider’s health as well as the horse; these profiles are designed individually to suit each horse and are very comprehensive and are NOT computer generated.

Antoinette offers natural health solutions and feeding recommendations for all types of horses. Antoinette shows horse owners how to improve the health and wellbeing of their horses while cutting the cost of feeding dramatically which is good news. Feeding according to the species is simply common sense.
